Subject: Issues with CCNY’s parking space

Dear Dr. Boudreau,

I wanted to bring up a problem that, in my opinion, many City College students are experiencing. It concerns the scarcity of parking spaces on campus, which is very frustrating and inconvenient for faculty and students, especially during busy times.

People frequently spend a lot of time searching for a spot in the parking lots, which is stressful and can cause them to be late for classes or appointments. This is obviously not ideal and may have a detrimental effect on everyone’s ability to perform well in school and at work.

I have some ideas that might be able to help solve the issue. Building a multi-level parking garage is one choice that would increase the number of parking spaces and relieve pressure on the currently available lots. Another choice is to increase the number of surface parking lots, which might entail expanding an existing lot or renovating an empty space on campus.

Encouraging alternate methods of transport, such as biking, carpooling, and public transportation, is another idea. This might make it simpler for those who do need to park and decrease the number of cars on campus.

A meeting to discuss these options and look into other potential solutions that might be more affordable and long-lasting would be beneficial, in my opinion. I sincerely hope you will take my advice into consideration and act quickly to resolve this issue.
